Dear Matt,
Kayona was the perfect band at our wedding reception – lots of our guests commented on how good they were and from the numbers of people on the dance floor they could certainly get people up regardless of age. Before the wedding Matt and Rachel made really helpful suggestions about first dance tunes and made us feel confident that they would be able to respond to the ‘audience’.
They were happy for us to go and see them perform before we committed ourselves as well, which was good. Although we went for the 5-piece band for ‘impact’, Kayona are just as good as a duo and Matt’s boogie-woogie alone was worth the fee!
On the day itself the band were completely professional, punctual, looked the part, and most importantly didn’t steal our limelight!
Thanks to Matt and Rachel and the rest of the band we had a really good time at our reception and danced the night away – I just wish we could do it all again!
